Guest Information

All rides are professionally guided.

Riders must be at least 8 years old (no exceptions.) Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult AND must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

Riders must weigh less than 220 pounds. We adhere to the Body Mass Index Table as a guide for determining a rider's level of fitness and capacity to ride our horses safely on uneven terrain. Generally, a rider's BMI must be under 31 to ride at our stables.

not as a means to cause discomfort,
embarrassment and/or ill will.

Shoes must have a closed toe and we recommend long pants. No sandals or flip-flops.

You will be asked to arrive 30 minutes before your ride for instructions and to be matched with an appropriate horse.

You must be physically able to mount your horse unassisted.

No guest will be permitted to ride if it is determined that they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the 24 hour cancellation policy will apply.

For your safety, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whom we determine is in poor physical condition. Please tell us in advance of any special concerns or requirements - riders of all abilities are welcome!

Your reservation can be cancelled without penalty 24 hours prior to your ride (for groups of five or less).

The state parks have parking fees, which must be paid at the ranger kiosks at the entrances to the parks.We make every effort to provide our guests with a high quality horseback riding experience while maintaining our safety parameters. These policies are not meant to discriminate against any individual, only to provide the safest possible riding for all participants.
